Description
New Format, Simpler To Use, Easy To Program, Longer Battery Life, New Moisture Resistant Coating, Brighter Display And Stronger Vibration Mode
RF Detectors by Safe and Sound are 3rd Party Certified RF Detectors With A Full Frequency Response From 700MHz to 9GHz
What’s New With The Safe and Sound Micro 2.1:
The Safe and Sound Micro 2.1 RF Detector not only allows for 24/7 monitoring of your environment, but it is also small, compact, durable, and discreet. Additionally, it features super sensitive detection that is specifically designed with the electro-hypersensitive individual in mind. Furthermore, its accuracy is fully certified, and it operates on a rechargeable battery, making it both reliable and convenient. As a result, it is easy to use and understand, requiring no technical experience.
Moreover, there are three button actions that function when the unit is unplugged from USB. Interestingly, these button actions work identically regardless of what the unit is doing, which means that there are no multiple functions to learn or remember.
On the other hand, there is one USB action: when the unit is plugged in, the button is disabled. In this case, the unit charges and displays the battery level, which occurs irrespective of its state when power is connected.
The rechargeable battery life (recharge cycle) is up to 60 days, depending on which Mode you are using.
- Standby Mode: 30 to 60 days – meter is in standby and is activated manually.
- Alarm Mode: 5 to 30 days – Meter is in Vibrate or Warning Light mode and is constantly analyzing the environment around you.
Instructions:
1. Single Click
2. Multi Click
3. Button Hold
1. Single Click
- Click once and wait ~ 0.75 seconds for action to take place
- Works identically in ANY mode
- If LEDs are OFF, Turns LEDs ON (measurement mode)
- If LEDS are ON, Turns LEDs OFF (monitor mode)
2. Multiple Clicks (each click must happen within 0.75 seconds of the previous click)
Click button sequence -> All LEDs come on for 1 sec -> RF Vibrate Threshold Displayed while unit vibrates the same number of times that button was clicked -> All LEDs go off and unit is in “LED off monitor mode”
Works identically in ANY mode
The LED color-coded light display identifies eight exposure levels:
- Green blink = <1 µW/m²
- Green = 1–10 µW/m² (two clicks)
- Yellow = 10–100 µW/m² (three clicks)
- Orange = 100–1,000 µW/m² (four clicks)
- Red = 1,000–10,000 µW/m² (five clicks)
- Red slow blink = 10,000–100,000 µW/m² (six clicks)
- Red fast blink = 100,000–1,000,000 µW/m² (seven clicks)
- Red fastest blink = >1,000,000 µW/m²
- No vibration (7 clicks)
3. 3+ Second Button Hold
- Hold button down and wait until unit vibrates 3x -> unit shows all LEDs -> displays battery level -> powers off
- Works identically in ANY mode
4. USB plugged in
- Plug in USB power -> enters charging mode and indicates battery level -> BUTTON DISABLED
- Unplug USB power -> Enables button and resumes operation
- Works identically in ANY mode

The EMF Detector 2.1 is the best gadget for situational awareness for anyone with EHS. Unlike bulky handheld meters, its wrist-worn design allows me to monitor radiation intensity in real-time, instantly alerting me to hotspots as I move through my day. It has become an essential tool for navigating my environment safely.

I have been wearing the watch for a few days now and it’s working great. I compared the reading of the LEDs with the Safe and Sound Pro II and they seem the same when holding the watch in mid-air or on a surface other then on my wrist. But when I’m wearing it, the reading is a bit lower on the watch than on the meter. Probably due to the fact that it’s blocked from one side (my wrist) or so close to the body. Just something to keep in mind when interpreting the display.
Still, I really think it’s a great little device to know the level of exposition in a fast and not complicated way and to show others (it’s a great conversation starter when someone ask you what kind of smart watch is that).

This is a nifty device. I had no idea how useful it would be until it helped us discover that my husband’s hearing aides’ flight mode had been disabled. I had been getting RF signals with my larger meter, but hadn’t been able to source them. I thought my daughter might be secretly using her cell phone in the house (against the rules), but then I noticed I had signal when she was out of the house. Even when I took her laptop out to the car, we had signal in the house. I thought my own laptop might be emitting even though I had enabled flight mode and had disabled wireless system settings. (My laptop had leaked RF even with airplane mode enabled many times ) When I got the Safe and Sound wrist meter, it beeped when my daughter was out, when her laptop was out, when my laptop was powered off and had no battery life left. Eventually, we figured out that the wrist meter beeped only when I was within a foot or two of my husband. Long story short, it was Bluetooth in his hearing aides. When we first bought the hearing aids from Costco, we told them Bluetooth had to be disabled in the software. That was 7 years ago. About 5 months ago, they serviced the hearing aides. Perhaps then the flight mode had been disabled. Anyway, Friday we go to Costco to have the aids reprogrammed thanks to the Safe and Sound wrist RF meter! Another benefit: I don’t have to remember to go get my other meter or wait for my symptoms to tell me my daughter forgot to turn her airplane mode on when she comes home, because no I wear a meter on my wrist. Maybe one day my daughter will ditch the nasty thing. It’s easy to charge, and operate, and it looks nice. It’s lightweight too. Thank you SLT! I love it.

After I figured out how to change the alert level, I have been happy with it. I have only had it a couple of days. Traveling with it soon will be the real test.

Convenient — seems accurate — goes to blinking red when i come within 100′ of a cell tower or 10 feet of wifi router. Sometimes does not hold a charge for long

What a useful little unit! I love this. I walk a lot and like to know where the “clean” areas are. It’s so surprising to me that children’s playgrounds, sports areas, walk/bike paths etc are some of the highest readings in town!! When visiting friends, instead of sitting in front of their wifi router that’s out of sight, I just see that red light go off on my wrist-unit and move to a better place. It’s also been very helpful in my home, figuring out patterns of high frequencies from the nearby cell tower and how it affects different areas of my home at different times (including night time. it’s on the night table and I found out my main bedroom has 5G beaming in and have moved to another room in the house where I now get much better sleep). I have my pro-meter, but one can’t carry that around all day. The wrist monitor is perfect!
