Measurement Range: 0.001 µW/m² to 2,500,000 µW/m² (Linear response between 0.1µW/m² and 1,000,000µW/m²)
The Measurement Range attribute defines the minimum and maximum levels that a meter can accurately display. It tells you both the sensitivity for detecting very weak signals and the capacity for reading high exposure levels without overload.
Meters often include fine, coarse, and overall ranges, for example 0.1–199.9 µW/m² (fine, resolution 60 dB) and 1–1999 µW/m² (coarse, resolution 50 dB). These ranges allow users to zoom in on low-level background fields or expand to capture strong signals from nearby transmitters.
By publishing these ranges, customers know whether a device is suited for household surveys, professional consulting, or detailed research. A wide and flexible measurement range gives confidence that the instrument will deliver accurate, reliable data across real-world environments.
